So many original features to spot around the Hotel, it's just beautiful. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great quality and an ample self service buffet. Our room was quite newly decorated, it was spacious enough for two. The beds were comfortable, and sockets were by the bed. Wi-fi is available in public spaces, lots of comfy seating to laze around on while surfing the net if needed. We had read and heard some bad reviews so wasn't sure what to expect, there are bars surrounding the Hotel, some were better than others. We were lucky enough to get a room at the back of the Hotel overlooking the Rock Bar, for us this was just an added bonus, a pure joy! 🤘😝🤘 Hoping that when we come back we can book the same room! 🤞🙏

I have seen some bad reviews about this property. Yes it is a little dated but it's an old property and the furniture etc go with the style, but it certainly does not deserve the bad reviews it gets. The staff can't do enough for you. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Location is fab. It was really warm and I was able to loan a fan free of charge. I have had to pay at other properties before. All you can eat breakfast for £9.95 which they had a good selection. I didn't have evening meal but wish I had now. I asked for a quiet room as my child is Autistic, they gave me a smashing room right on the front of lord street. The room was massive and had everything we needed. I would definately stay again.

Fabulous hotel, yes it's a little dated but it's old and the decor goes with it. Our room was huge, right on the front of lord street. I asked for a quiet room not near the bars etc due to my child having autism. The staff listened and made us feel so welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast all you can eat for £9.95 was amazing. Lots of choice hot and cold. Wish I had booked evening dinner now. We attended to nights for the Air show. This hotel has alot of bad reviews and it doesn't deserve them. I will be returning and I'm a very fussy person.

Was a great location on lovely picturesque road with plenty of bars and restaurants.Short walk to promenade and only 10min to seafront.A few minutes to town centre.A couple of good bars in hotel, nice lounge area where they had free entertainment of a evening.Had the buffet breakfast once which was very good lots of variety well worth the £12.50.Easy access to room via lift or stairs. Some lovely decor on each floor showing history of the hotel.

It's location is brilliant there is a lot going on around the area. The chop house is brilliant for live music. The pub inside the hotel is really good. There is a lot of action going on in the hotel, groups of people but it's understandable as there is many events on in the area. People come to see the events. The hotel is cheap and clean and you get what you pay for.
